2006 Rosso de Sonoma
The wines appearance is brilliant and ruby red. The first impression in the bouquet is of sweet tobacco and a slight earthiness, later growing into more perfumed aromas of black cherry and cinnamon.

2006 Sauvignon Blanc
Our vivacious, straw-colored 2006 Sauvignon Blanc offers a luscious grapefruit scented bouquet and medium body that yields to a crisp, refreshing fruit finish.

2005 Chardonnay
The 2005 Chardonnay's classic Burgundian style is built on a complex core of luscious tangerine and lemon fruit with balanced honey notes that unfold beautifully on the palate with a long crisp finish.

2005 Cabernet Sauvignon
The wine itself is ruby red, presenting a layered bouquet of red bell pepper, chocolate and crushed black cherries with underlying subtle oak nuances. The wine is somewhat brooding at present with the fruit needing time to open with aeration.

2005 Syrah
A black-purple color, the Syrah reveals rich, ripe fruit in both its appearance and bouquet that given time to open offer aromas of marinated meat, blueberries, black pepper, and velvety chocolate.

2003 Brunello di Sonoma
Dark garnet colored center, strawberry rim, very clear appearance. The immediate impression of the bouquet is combination of floral and sweet herbal scents, underlain with maraschino cherry, tobacco and leather aromas.

The exceptionally rich, Tuscan-style extra virgin olive oil offers a robust herbal flavor and spicy finish.

You'll discover this oil is the perfect complement to virtually any foods that you salt and pepper.

The Brief History
Having tasted many extra virgin olive oils, Vintner and Restaurateur Lorenzo Petroni could not find one that replicated the smooth and rich extra virgin oils of his native Tuscany. After years of searching, he decided to make his own.

In 1992 Lorenzo air-freighted 10,000 olive trees from Pescia, Italy to California. The trees were of five distinct  Tuscan cultivars not commonly found in the United States; Pendolino, Leccino, Moraiolo, Frantoio, and Carotina.

After the mandatory two-year quarantine only 2,000 trees survived, which were planted on the family estate in the West Mayacamas of Sonoma in 1994. Petroni Vineyard’s first 100% organic extra virgin olive oil was released in 1998.  The olives are hand picked and cold pressed at the Glen Ellen Olive Press.
